I don't really like the newer Sesame Street. It's not that they've changed so many things- I accept that. It's more because Sesame has strayed a little from the things that made it great. It seems more entertaining than educational, and it seems to skew slightly older. the sketches are long enough to bore me, and my autistic son has no time for them whatsoever. It's also less entertaining for adults. My kids have been growing up on the old school Sesame Street episodes on DVD, and I've enjoyed rewatching them with my kids. I did at first, anyway. Now I've seen them so many times I want to shoot myself. I've particularly enjoyed watching some of the cameos and performances by old celebrities.
